1) About Homekeepers Pro

Homekeepers Pro (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides professional housekeeping, organizing, move support, and related services to residential and commercial clients in Calgary, Alberta surrounding areas.

2) Scope of Services

• We provide housekeeping and organizing.

• Project work (e.g., move‑in/out, post‑renovation, large organizing) is quoted case‑by‑case.

• We may refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe or outside scope.

3) Booking & Minimums

• Minimum visit: 2 hours unless otherwise agreed.

• Residential / commercial: one‑time, project‑based or recurring (weekly/bi‑weekly/monthly).

• We generally work in small, consistent teams; substitutions may occur when needed to maintain continuity.

4) Cancellations & Rescheduling

• 24+ hours’ notice: no fee.

• Same‑day (<24 hours): fee up to 50% of the booked time (min. 2 hours).

• No access on arrival / lock‑out: charged as a late cancellation.
We’ll always try to accommodate changes when possible.

5) Pricing, Taxes & Payment

• Current rates are shown on our Pricing pages; project work is custom‑quoted.

• Prices are before GST (5%) unless stated otherwise.

• Payment due: upon completion of each visit (residential, commercial) or monthly (commercial), unless otherwise agreed.

• Accepted: cash, e‑transfer, major credit cards, or as listed in your Client Hub.

• Late payments may incur interest/administrative fees. Tips are optional.

6) Supplies & Equipment

• We can work with your preferred products or bring ours.

• If you request we use your products/equipment, you accept responsibility for product performance, allergies, staining, or surface reactions.

7) Access, Keyholding & Parking

• You may provide door codes/keys; we follow strict key/entry protocols.

• Please ensure safe parking/entry. Client is responsible for any building access fees.

8) Health, Safety & Pets

• Please inform us of allergies, sensitivities, or special instructions.

• Secure pets if they are anxious or may interfere with work.

• We do not handle biohazards, mold remediation, pest infestations, or climbing beyond safe step‑stool height.

9) Client Responsibilities

• Clear surfaces or identify priority zones at the start.

• Identify delicate/valuable items and special surfaces requiring unique care.

• Provide functioning utilities (water, electricity, lighting, HVAC) during service.

10) Quality Guarantee

If something was missed, tell us within 24 hours. We’ll arrange a reasonable re‑visit or credit for the missed area at our discretion. This guarantee does not cover normal resoiling, post‑visit usage, or scope changes.

11) Breakage, Damage & Liability

• Please report concerns within 24 hours of service.

• Where we are at fault, our liability is limited to repair or replacement of the affected item considering age and condition, or a service credit.

12) Photos & Before/After Documentation

With your permission, we may take limited photos of work areas for quality control, scoping, or proof of completion. We will never publish identifiable interiors without express consent.

13) Promotions, Credits & Referral Program

• Promotions and credits are non‑transferable, and may carry expiry dates.

• Referral credits apply once your referred client completes their first paid visit.

• We may adjust or end promotions at any time.

14) Scheduling & Team Continuity

We assign two consistent teams where possible to ensure continuity and reliable coverage. If a team member is unavailable, a trained replacement may attend; standards and checklists remain the same.

15) Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or non‑performance due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, outages, emergencies).

16) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date will change; continued use of our services indicates acceptance.

17) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Disputes will be handled in Alberta courts unless we agree to mediation/arbitration. Nothing limits consumer rights under applicable law.
